Here I Sit

...in the basement of the music library at Ohio State working on my dissertation. I thought I would take advantage of this wireless signal I am slurping up and procrastinate a bit. My web updates and public performances have been sparse this school year. I am trying to graduate in June with my D.M.A. (Doctorate of Musical Arts).

What do you do with that degree, you ask? Well, it's basically a degree in advanced waitering. Kidding! Actually, when I grow up I want to teach trumpet at a university.

Further Procrastination
Right now there are SIX empty Starbucks cups on my desk, three highlighters, one pen and one pencil.
